- Pickup & destination
- City, state and location type at each end. Include any loading or unloading access restrictions you already know about.
- The cargo
- What is being shipped, how it is packaged, the number of pieces or pallets, and the approximate weight and dimensions.
- The dates
- Requested pickup and delivery dates, appointment requirements, and whether either date has flexibility.
- The handoffs
- Who is coordinating the shipment and whether warehouse handling needs to be discussed alongside transportation.
